Here is a series of pictures depicting a cheetah kill, from start to finish. The impala was totally oblivious to the 3 cheetahs stalking it. The chase was very quick and at quite a distance, I was lucky to get off a quick shot at all. After that, we drove right up close to them. The one cheetah griping the neck, never let go, for about 5 minutes, until the impala was dead. During the meal, they were constantly looking around for danger, as in lions or hyenas, while ignoring us. Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana
