These images are from an early October trip to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and upstate New York. The highlight of course, was the changing of the trees. In most areas we visited, the foliage seemed to be at peak or near peak. This was especially true in New Hampshire's White Mountains and most all of Vermont, where the hills and forests seemed ablaze in color.
