For about three years back in the late 90's, I shot almost exclusively Kodak High Speed Infrared film. I was introduced to it during one of my college black and white classes, and I really enjoyed the results from it. It produced a different look - sometimes a little surreal. It was hard to work with, since it was very contrasty and grainy, but that is part of its charm. This was before the digital camera age of course, and I was spending much of my time at the darkroom working with prints. But those darkroom days are over, and Kodak does not make this film anymore. I do miss the darkroom days though. Most all of the images in this gallery originate from high resolution scans from finished 8 x 10 prints.
