Rhinos are the most endangered and rare of the "Big 5" animals. Most trips to Africa, we do not see any rhinos, especially up close. Finally in 2025 we went to South Africa and Namibia, and saw quite a few! Mostly white rhinos, but a few black rhinos too. It was quite a moment to be up close to rhinos for the first time.
